Practice Description :
- Setting : Hospital & Clinic settings (Provider may be asked, if ok, covering some clinic depending on a departure of a clinic provider)
- Daily Responsibilities : Inpatient Rounding, OR (Mainly Hospital) - Depending on how many cases prescheduled, 1 provider scheduled for OR, 1 Back up, and 2 scheduled to do the rounding on the floor. Depending on providers skill level, they may be assigned to OR. Generally 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding. Pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting and MUST be proficient in EVH and First Assist. Radial artery harvest experience
- Shifts / Schedule Expectations : OR - 7 : 00a-3 : 45p; Inpatient Rounding 7 : 15a-3 : 45p - Monday through Friday
- Call Schedule / Responsibilities : 1 : 4 Rotation between providers. 1 : 4 weekday and 1 : 4 weekends. On Weekdays will likely get a handful of calls but rarely go in. On Weekends, Provider will round in the AM for a few hours then be on call the remainder of the time. Will take calls but not likely to go back in.
- PPD / Census : Generally, 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding.
