Job Description
The Vice President is responsible for promoting SUN and its strategic partners products and services globally. This position will report directly to the President and will have a dotted line working collaboratively with the Executive Vice President. This position will also work closely with Vice President of Technology and Business Development to grow the company’s global footprint in product expansion and emerging markets. This person will consult with General Managers of territories outside the US and Canada on sales activities providing advice and support as needed to further sales in their territories. Responsibilities for balance of 2025 will ensure smooth integration of Kolbus business into SUN Automation Group.
Further, this position will manage the global OEM relationships for SUN products which will include managing the OEM Sales Manager.
In addition, this role will play a key role on the merger and acquisition team and help identify potential new acquisition potential targets within the corrugated market as well as exploring opportunities in the greater packaging sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures and oversees smooth transition of integrating the Kolbus / Hycorr business integration into SUN Automation Group.
- Identifies potential acquisition targets and presents opportunities to M&A team.
- Works with executive management and area sales managers to set international sales objectives.
- Develops business plan to meet objectives.
- Develops key performance indicators to measure progress against the plan.
- Identifies weaknesses in execution of the plan and implements corrective action as needed.
- Reports regularly to President and Senior Leadership team on activities.
- Identifies new product development opportunities.
- Supports international sales activities in Sun offices in the US as needed to close orders and facilitate production, payments, shipments, and customer service issues for international customers.
- Provides management and support to OEM Sales Manager.
- Travels as needed to meet objectives.
