Your Mission: The Director of Marketing Operations will direct the day-to-day operations of Sun Health's multi-function marketing team. Working alongside the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Director of Creative Services, and other division leaders, the Director of Marketing Operations will develop and manage several multi-channel campaigns to advance the annual goals for all of Sun Health, including its life plan retirement communities, wellness programs, and philanthropic initiatives. The Director of Marketing Operations will lead a cross-functional team of marketing managers dedicated to brand and creative services, digital marketing, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops marketing, advertising and communications campaigns to advance Sun Health's brand identity, broaden awareness, drive leads, and increase visibility and market share for all of Sun Health, including Sun Health Communities, Sun Health Foundation, and Sun Health Wellness.
- Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement within the senior living industry.
- Builds a strong digital presence for each of Sun Health's business lines using persona marketing and techniques including geofencing, retargeting, look-alike audiences, etc.
- Cultivates a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration among the marketing and communications team while effectively leading and mentoring a cross-functional group of professionals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to deliver high-quality creative work.
- Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations for the marketing team.
- Ensures that all marketing initiatives and campaigns support the organization's strategic goals.
- Manages the marketing and communications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicates to senior leaders the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
- Strengthens business unit relationships to enhance communications and messaging opportunities by building key relationships with division and department leaders to support business unit function and success across the Sun Health enterprise.
- Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
- Provides all customers/audiences of Sun Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health Values and Mission each and every day.
- Manages vendor partners and platforms through marketing lense (Pixa, LivingPlate, CRMs, Hubspot, Beeline, others)
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar field required.
- 7 years of experience managing a cross-functional marketing team required.
- 5 years of experience with multimedia marketing and advertising campaign development, management, and reporting required.
- Understands the latest trends in digital advertising and multi-channel lead generation required.
- Proven ability to maximize the use of advertising, public relations, and earned media required.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing tools including search engine optimization, paid ads, social media ads, and advertising funnels required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills required.
- Possess current or ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
- Requires reliable transportation in employee provided vehicle, current Driver's license and auto insurance required.
- 5 years of experience driving leads for high end sales; senior living or other real estate preferred.
- Knowledge of major trends in health care, senior living, health and wellness, and mass communication preferred.
- Experience providing marketing support for fundraising initiatives preferred.
