Job Description:
You will oversee timelines, budgets, and teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex HVAC projects, developing and managing project budgets, and identifying and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HVAC projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and specification compliance.
- Oversight of interdepartmental teams and delegation of tasks as needed.
- Development and management of project budgets and cost analyses.
- Risk identification and mitigation, escalating issues when necessary.
- Primary liaison between clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Support for pre-construction efforts, including subcontractor coordination.
- Maintenance of accurate project documentation and stakeholder access to up-to-date information.
- Review and processing of vendor, subcontractor, and supplier invoices.
- Organization and attendance of project meetings, ensuring completion of action items.
- Oversight of project closeout, including final reports, as-built drawings, and warranties.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required (college degree preferred).
- 3 years of experience in mechanical contracting.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- OSHA certification or safety training is a plus.
- Experience in contract negotiation and client relationship management.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar certifications are a plus.
