What are the responsibilities and job description for the Poolside Server/Bartender position at Sun Outdoors Paso Robles on Golden Hill?
As our Poolside Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to guests in our poolside area, including cabanas. Your main duties will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a delightful and relaxing experience.

- Greet guests warmly and assist them in finding comfortable seating in the poolside area and cabanas.
- Take food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
- Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized poolside area, including cabanas.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
- Be readily available and approachable for all guests while always extending professionalism.
- Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel.
- Ensure the bar service space remains well-stocked at all times.
- Cleaning and sanitizing table, countertops, and floors after each service.
- Collect payment for all transactions or charge transactions to guest accounts according to the IHM policy.
- Validate customers' IDs and monitor all beverage consumption in order to address severe intoxication.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a poolside or outdoor setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks such as carrying trays and walking long distances.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
