Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

As the People and Culture Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment while supporting a wide range of people-focused initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the People and Culture Business Partner to ensure HR functions run smoothly, while also contributing to the growth, well-being, and engagement of our staff. Your contributions will help shape the culture of Morrison Education Group and its subsidiaries. You will also:
- Partner with the People and Culture Business Partner to conduct new hire orientations and manage onboarding processes, ensuring an engaging experience for new team members.
- Support the HR team in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, utilizing HR systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Help communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across the organization, fostering understanding and alignment.
- Coordinate and manage HR documentation, including job postings, offer letters, performance reviews, and employee agreements.
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for staff inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Play an active role in organizing and coordinating HR events, training sessions, and professional development workshops to enhance the employee experience.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HR systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to core HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and legal requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working in an educational or school setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extended periods of working at a desk and using a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to move around the office and other facilities as needed.
