What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Sun Valley Landscaping?
Job Duties : Process, post, reconcile transactions in receivables and payables. Perform daily & weekly reconcile of sales, bank, payments, and credit card transactions. Issue weekly invoices and monthly statements, collecting payments from clients. Perform daily time entry and internal purchasing verification process. Manage purchase receipts for job related materials in Aspire. Match all PO's and receipts to ensure proper job costing and general ledger accounts. Perform on-going collection efforts for accounts receivable to maintain cash flow. Audit monthly vendor statement to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Perform general customer service and vendor management in relation to AR / AP. Review weekly and monthly checklist verifications as part of month-end closing process. Prepare weekly and monthly data reports. Produce error-free accounting reports to Controller for month-end closing. Manage office supply inventory and purchasing requests from other team members. Manage office vendor contracts for phones, internet, cleaning, water, printer, etc. Measurables : EOM close and reporting done by the 18th of each month. AR Days Under 30. Quick and current ratio goals. Overall net profit performance.
