Job Title: Office Manager and Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and highly organized Office Manager and Human Resources Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office while fostering a positive workplace culture. This role is crucial in managing both office activities and human resources functions, aligning them with overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations:
- Oversee and coordinate all office operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Supervise and support administrative staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Develop and implement office procedures to improve workflow and productivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and communications.
- Assist in budgeting and expense tracking to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain and organize company records, both digital and physical. Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal regulations and support organizational goals.
- Manage employee relations, addressing any issues or concerns that arise in the workplace.
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives for staff members.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Oversee all time-off requests for hourly workers and create a calendar for supervisors to track scheduled absences.
- Handle all employee benefits, including health insurance, dental, vision, hearing, 401(k), and PTO.
- Manage workers' compensation, including submitting claims.
- Provide administrative support in office management tasks, including filing, clerical duties, and maintaining office supplies. Event Planning and Coordination:
- Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities to enhance employee engagement.
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role with at least 1 year of experience.
- Proven experience in HR management with 2 years of experience.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and employee documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual preferred.
Work Environment:
- This position requires working in an office setting.
