What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Tennis Camp Instructor position at Sun Valley Resort?
The Sun Valley Resort Junior Tennis Camp Instructors will be part of a team of instructors who run our Junior Tennis Camp. Other coaching and teaching opportunities will be available depending on experience. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervising, teaching, and maintaining the safety of our Junior Campers
- Run drills and teach the fundamentals of tennis to our campers aged 6-17
- Creating a fun and dynamic environment for our campers
- Help coordinate and run tournaments for campers
Qualifications:
- Have a love of tennis and enjoy being part of a team
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
