Are you an expert in compensation analysis with a passion for creating competitive, fair, and effective pay structures? We’re looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team for a 12-month contract in Irvine, CA. You’ll play a key role in shaping our compensation programs, conducting in-depth market analysis, and providing valuable insights to leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Compensation Program Management – Help develop, implement, and manage compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, incentives, and merit-based structures.
• Market Analysis – Conduct comprehensive annual market analysis to recommend competitive merit budgets and salary structure adjustments.
• Job Evaluations – Update and maintain job descriptions, complete job evaluations, and ensure correct salary grades and FLSA compliance.
• Data-Driven Insights – Analyze and model compensation data, create recommendations, and deliver presentations to leadership to drive informed decision-making.
• Collaboration & Advisory – Work closely with HR, recruitment teams, and leadership to advise on salary recommendations and resolve compensation-related inquiries.
• Survey Participation – Be the go-to contact for compensation survey groups and third-party consultants. Manage annual survey processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Stay Current – Keep up-to-date with Federal and California State laws and regulations related to compensation, ensuring full compliance.

What You Bring:

• Experience – At least 10 years of direct experience in compensation management, including base pay, variable pay programs, and market analysis.
• Education – A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Analytical Skills – Expertise in data management and analysis, with advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables) and strong PowerPoint capabilities.
• Compensation Knowledge – In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, federal/state compensation laws, and FLSA regulations.
• Communication – Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, and to present compensation insights effectively.
• Attention to Detail – Ability to identify discrepancies, research, and resolve issues to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
