Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse and distribution center. This position requires a strong focus on order fulfillment, accuracy in inventory management, and effective communication skills.

Duties

• Process incoming shipments by verifying the contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
• Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks to load and unload goods safely.
• Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring all products are stored correctly and accessible.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling packages and operating equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and basic math skills are essential.
• Experience with order picking, loading, unloading, and packaging is beneficial.
• Ability to operate reach trucks or similar warehouse machinery is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
