What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales - Utility position at SUNBELT SOLOMON SERVICES, LLC?
The Outside Sales team member is responsible for building client partnerships and selling to electrical and industrial customers. This team member will focus on the utility division in the key target areas which include WA, ID, MT, OR and CA.
• Foster relationships with the utility businesses and utility adjacencies that exist
• Establish and maintain customer relationships to generate profitable sales.
• Drive new business by seeking out opportunities with new and existing customers
• Focus on transformer sales and repair, field service offerings and surplus buying to increase our inventory
• Set strategies for both short term victories and longer-term positioning
• Preparation of quotations and entering orders per customer specifications.
• Review quotations and follow up to close business
• Attend regional and national industrial shows, as necessary
• Scheduling and planning of customer site visits.
• Working with operations to ensure customer orders and expectations are met.
• Other duties as assigned
