What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Machine Operator - Blasting position at Sunbelt Solomon?
This position is responsible for properly sanding and prepping units to paint. Hours are Friday-Sunday 12 hour shift with guaranteed 40 hours.
- -Ability to blast single phase poles, pads, and regulators
- -Ability to blast three phase pads
- -Ability to demonstrate proper safety protocol when using tools and working in the area.
- -Ability to follow work order.
- -Insists on safety as Job 1.
- Sanding and painting experience
- Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
- Help team members resolve questions and help with the work load.
- A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
- Professional language and conduct at all times.
- Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
