SLP or SLPA Speech Language Pathologist Part Time/Full Time With Benefits- Jacksonville, AR Area
Key Responsibilities:
For SLP:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each students unique needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions aimed at improving students' speech and language abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance on student progress and goals
For SLPA:
- Assist the SLP in delivering therapy sessions based on the established treatment plans
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on specific communication goals
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting updates to the SLP
- Help prepare and adapt therapy materials to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Work closely with the SLP, teachers, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support
Qualifications:
- For SLP: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- For SLPA: Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience in a school setting is preferred for both roles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
