Job Title : Special Education Teacher
Location : Near East Brunswick, New Jersey
Caseload : Middle School
Start Date : ASAP - End of School Year
Hours : Full Time, 37.5 hrs / wk (7 : 50 AM - 3 : 05 PM)
Grade : 6th Grade (Up to 12 Students)
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support 6th-grade students with multiple disabilities and / or autism. Experience preferred but not required. Must be willing to undergo Handle with Care training (provided). Responsibilities include attending meetings, professional development, parent / teacher conferences, and other school events.
Requirements :
- SPED License : Teacher of the Handicap or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate
- Elementary K-6 certificate
- Bachelors degree in special education or related field; masters preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with special education preferred
