Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with plant management to align production capabilities with scheduling needs.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Analyze data related to production performance and quality control metrics.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address scheduling conflicts or changes.
- Prepare reports on production efficiency and recommend strategies for improvement.
Skills/ Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- 1-3 years of experience in a simillar role
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and systems.
- Ability to analyze data for process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant tools.
