Sunburst Memorials has been in business since 1917 and is a part of the St. Cloud Industrial Products, Inc. (SCIPI) family of companies. Sunburst serves families throughout the Midwest with retail operations in MN, MI, IA, NE, and SD. This position is based out of our Lansing, MI location; however, this role will require regular travel to cemeteries and various customer locations. Lansing is the capital of Michigan and is home to a number of attractions and destinations including the Potter Park Zoo, the Michigan Library and Historical Center, and Michigan State University in neighboring, East Lansing.

Position Description:
As the Memorial Installer, you are responsible for the coordination, preparation and installation of memorials. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated and has an eye for detail. If you fit this description, Apply Today!
Essential Functions
- Memorial Installation Coordination & Preparation: organize daily route planning, coordinate with sales team and cemetery sextons for memorial installs, and prepare installation site by digging level foundation while safely operating company truck and crane
- System Updates & Relationship Management: update system with completed installs regularly, respond to calls and emails promptly to maintain healthy relationships with sales staff, sextons, supervisors, and customers
- Inventory Management & Delivery Assistance: maintain pre-cast inventory level to meet demand and assist with unloading memorials from delivery trucks
- Truck Maintenance & DOT Inspections: regularly perform or schedule preventative maintenance and annual DOT inspections for company vehicle
- Product Inspection & Off-Season Projects: inspect and repair products as needed, and assist with winter projects as directed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of truck mounted crane operation and ability to read a level and tape measure
- Self-motivated with strong organization skills
- Ability for heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability for kneeling, bending, and standing for long periods of time
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Health Card or ability to obtain prior to start date
Preferred Experience:
- Previous memorial setting experience
