What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Player Services position at Suncadia?
Overview
We are seeking a seasonal team member to assist us in closing out the 2024 golf season at Suncadia. As a member of our Player Services team, you will provide warm and friendly service to our guests on the golf course. Your responsibilities may include assisting guests in the bag drop area, preparing and staging golf carts, and maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Greet customers in the bag drop area, unload clubs, clean, and place them in the designated area or cart
- Clean and inspect carts for damages when they return
- Ensure all carts are accounted for and plugged in before locking up, and maintain a clean and organized grounds area
- Maintain the driving range and practice area, including picking up golf balls, baskets, trash, and trees
- Wash and supply clean golf balls to the ball machine
- Clean and organize rental clubs, reporting any missing or damaged clubs to the Head or Assistant Professional
- Maintain a neat and clean back room and cart area
- Supply and prep carts for the staging area
- Shuttle guests to and from the Inn at Suncadia as needed
Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide legible information
- Basic math skills
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills
- Resolve problems using good judgment
- Able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
- Work outside in various weather conditions
