Overview
The Lead Server shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal/external guests and team members at all times. A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy. The Server Lead will assist in helping the team members adhere to standards of service in Descend Restaurant, Golf House Cafe and Hill House Cafe. They will assist in supporting with the training, retention and adherence to service and quality standards of all staff to ensure excellent service.
This job will start on April 18th, 2025.

Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding service to our members.
- Assist with the development, training and inspiration of outlet staff
- Participate in daily pre-shift and monthly departmental meetings;
- Comply with all Liquor and Labor regulations;
- Responsible for reinforcement of department and company standards through training including all policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Actively participate in staff service training.
- Responsible for understanding of, and staff training, on the POS system.
- Responsible for the correct administration and supervision of restaurant reservations.
- Responsible for the proper use of supplies, materials, and equipment;
- Assists with providing leadership to all Food and Beverage Outlets.
- Responsible for the service standards of the outlets
Qualifications
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit;
- Must be 21 years of age or older;
- Must obtain a Class 12 Mixologist permit within 90 days of beginning employment;
- Current Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain one within 2 weeks of employment;
- Must be able to read, write and speak English;
- Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment.
- Prior knowledge of food, beverage, dining room etiquette and service requirements.
- Computer literate.
- High school education preferred;
- Knowledge of wine and wine service;
- Must possess strong communication and organizational abilities.
