Position Overview
As the Used Car Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our used car operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, customer satisfaction, desking deals, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a seasoned automotive professional with a proven track record in managing successful used car departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize used car inventory, including purchasing, appraising, and pricing.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and achieve sales targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a positive and results-driven environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process.
- Desk deals with Sales Representatives.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to remain competitive.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales management, preferably in used car operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, market analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Proficiency in CRM software and dealership management systems.
