Supervises staff in two EFT functional areas : payroll services, ACH services, wire services, or check services. Supervises personnel activities of assigned staff. Assigns work and delegates responsibilities to staff and monitors progress to ensure goals are met and high-quality member service is maintained. Responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to the successful operation of the EFT department. This includes payments for consumer, small business and our commercial accounts in the following areas : Item Processing (IP) Department, ACH department and the Wire department.

Responsibilities

Supervises daily activities of assigned staff in two EFT functional areas : payroll services, ACH services, wire services, or check services Ensures assigned EFT functions are performed accurately and on a timely basis.
Monitors department workflows. Assesses staffing needs and recommends changes to procedures.
Acts as subject matter expert in all aspects of the EFT function, including those not directly responsible for. Resolves escalated EFT issues for members and employees.
May supervise other EFT Department teams in the absence of the team's supervisor.
Collaborate with the Manager of EFT and Commercial Services team to ensure the onboarding of members to our treasury platform is successful and payment processing standards are set.
Sets day-to-day operational objectives for team. Assigns work and delegates responsibilities to staff and monitors progress to ensure department goals are met and high-quality member service is maintained. Cultivates strong working relationships and builds trust among team members.
Responsible for other personnel activities of staff as assigned, such as hiring, training, performance appraisals, scheduling, and disciplinary matters.
Attends job-specific training classes as requested by manager. Completes annual BSA / AML Compliance Training and understands employee's role in maintaining an effective BSA / AML compliance program and completes FACT Act Red Flag training.

Qualifications

6 or more years progressively responsible experience in ACH, Wires, Payroll, and Item Processing or similar position. Previous supervisory experience desired.

Must be proficient in all EFT functions : payroll services, ACH services, wire services, and check services.

Good organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem solving skills in order to effectively supervise area of responsibility and attain goals set. Able to resolve difficult problems and situations.

Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.

Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators. Able to communicate policies, practices, and procedures for clarity and understanding by direct reports and other stakeholders.
