Overview

Compensation: $55,000 - $80,000 based on experience and credentials

Location Type: Hybrid opportunity with 3 days a week of onsite and some Saturday's.

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility required based on business needs)

The Senior Enterprise Professional Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in the design, development, and facilitation of comprehensive and elevated training programs. This role emphasizes masterful facilitation and focuses on providing education on professional development, career pathing, and succession planning for employees and leadership at all levels. The specialist evaluates and enhances training programs, creating competency models that support both current and future workforce development strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and facilitation of education programs, procedural documentation, and communication content across various delivery channels, including print, online, distance learning, multimedia, and websites
  • Adhere to industry standards and best practices to create training programs that meet stakeholder requirements and audience needs
  • Consult stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture learning requirements and design effective programs and deliverables
  • Facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions with a strong focus on professional development, career pathing, and succession planning
  • Manage logistics and administrative tasks related to class delivery, enrollment, and program oversight
  • Provide ongoing stakeholder support during the development and completion of programs
  • Research, write, and edit various content, including training documentation, websites, and multimedia programs
  • Develop content and scripting for online media such as training demos and web-based trainings
  • Design and deliver learner documentation, job aids, and learning materials for back-office and front office department
  • Collaborate with senior executives and management on succession planning and leadership development
  • Plan, prepare, and input content according to Enterprise Development Department standards, ensuring proper maintenance, functionality, usability, and quality of all produced projects
  • Ensure the functionality of online content, distance learning programs, web-based deliverables, and new applications in collaboration with IT, Human Resources, and Marketing departments
  • Evaluate learning and educational programs, assessing their overall effectiveness and updating course materials and delivery methods as needed
  • Work with managers to assess technical platforms, digital eLearning programs, and online educational deliverables
  • Lead major department projects and initiatives, maintaining and managing organizational development programming for recruitment, development, and performance evaluation
  • Stay current with trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise by attending educational events and completing required compliance training that will increase professional knowledge and be otherwise beneficial to the Credit Union
  • Complete annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understand employee’s role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and complete FACT Act Red Flag training
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
  • Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
  • Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
  • Three or more years previous experience developing, delivering, and facilitating training materials and programs, including developing, delivering, and facilitating distance learning training programs
  • Previous experience in project management of training programs
  • Proficiency in industry standards (ADDIE model, adult learning theories, blended learning theories, etc.) as well as best business practices (both technical and structural) for creation of training programs
  • Practical knowledge designing websites, Web-based training programs, and online programs
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
  • Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
