Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple landscape and hardscape projects.
- Lead pre-project meetings with sales and foremen to align on expectations, timelines, and job plans.
- Communicate with customers regularly to update on project progress, schedule changes, and warranty issues.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring proper handling of contracts, permits, and paperwork.
- Review daily job reports to ensure accuracy and profitability.
- Implement company processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.

Team and Employee Management:
- Supervise and support the production team, promoting growth through coaching and training.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and equipment maintenance.
- Manage the hiring, training, and separation processes for employees.
- Foster team cohesion, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Lead regular meetings with foremen and crews to set clear expectations and meet project goals.

Customer Relations and Communication:
- Maintain strong communication with customers, addressing needs and concerns promptly.

- Lead safety training and ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage.

- Ensure ongoing training for crew members on industry techniques, tools, and equipment.

Operations and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records for job-related expenses, materials, and equipment.
- Review time sheets and track labor and material costs to keep projects on budget.
- Assist with tool and equipment maintenance, including inspections and adherence to standard work guidelines.

Snow Removal (December through March):
- Oversee snow and ice removal operations, ensuring timely responses, pre-shift inspections, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Safely and efficiently clear snow and ice from designated areas, managing snow piling and applying de-icing agents as needed.
- Perform hands-on snow removal, including shoveling and treating specific site areas when required.
- Maintain constant communication during shifts, accurately document service records, and report any obstacles at job sites.
- 5 years of experience in landscape and/or hardscape project management.
- 3 years of supervisory or crew leader experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license with the ability to meet company insurability standards.
- Knowledge of landscape construction design, processes, and industry safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency in software tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Commitment to continuous professional development through training and certifications.
- Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments, in various weather conditions.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and performing tasks requiring bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak project seasons.
