What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Lead position at Sundance Pit BBQ?
Small family owned BBQ restaurant is seeking a Kitchen Lead to join our team! We're looking for someone to eventually run kitchen line solo Friday through Sunday, as well as assist with prep on Wednesday and Thursday. 30 hours a week, position includes hourly wage plus tips. Must have references.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on your own as well as being a part of a small team
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service.
- Assist in cooking and food preparation, maintaining a hands-on approach to kitchen management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
