Primary Job Duties :
We are looking for an experienced, low-voltage technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has multiple system licenses, 4 years of experience with low-voltage systems, and the demonstrated ability to multitask. In this role, you will primarily work on systems, including :
- Intrusion Security Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Cameras
- Intercom two-way communicators
- Structured cabling, including Fire Alarm Systems
Low Voltage Technician Requirements and Qualifications
Leading other installers on low-voltage projects or working independently.Perform preventative maintenance on low-voltage systems.Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, re-configure, and test low voltage systems.Pull, terminate, test, and label various cables, including fiber.Read and understand low-voltage schematics and diagrams.Attention to detail with a high quality of skillfulness.Additional Licenses, Experience, and Skills Welcomed
Access Control Installers license.Certifications in Camera systems.State Fire Alarm License.State Fire Extinguisher License.Educational and / or Other Required Background :
The educational and / or other background requirements for this position generally include :
High school diploma or equivalent.Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, in Personnel Services, Engineering-related Technologies, Vocational Home Economics, Construction Trades, Mechanics and Repairers, Precision Production Trades).Experience in the following areas) Network Camera Installation, Access Control installation and programing, security alarm system installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.5 or more years of experience.Physical Demands
