Job Description: Junior Designer (6-Month Contract)

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead and Principal Designer throughout the client intake process, assessing client needs, responding to prospects, and helping drive sales.
- Source accurate materials and present concepts to Lead Designers for approval.
- Maintain spreadsheets and client documents.
- Respond to clients in a professional, timely, and informative manner when applicable.
- Assist in coordinating third-party contractors, architects, and vendors, ensuring they deliver goods and services according to contractual requirements.
- Support logistics on installation days, directing moving teams, installing accessories, and cleaning.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, providing input and creative ideas and solutions.
- Help keep the office materials library organized and coordinate the return of samples as needed.
- Take the lead in tearing down after design presentations of non-approved selections.
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of residential interior design experience (design studio or showroom).
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of applications, along with spatial intuition.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Excel.
- Must possess a current driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in systems such as G Suite, Dubsado, and Studio Designer.

Job Type: Full-Time, 6-month contract with potential for renewal based on performance.
- Starting Pay: $24/hr (based on experience)
- Health Benefit Reimbursement: Up to $250
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM
- Work Location: Portland and travel to client locations
- Flexibility: Some remote work is allowed based on location and schedule.
- This position will work directly with the Principal Designer, Lead Designers, and Procurement Agent. An in-office desktop will be provided; however, the designer must supply their own cell phone and laptop.
