The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for the delivery and availability of all IT shared services. IT shared service delivery includes Architecture, Engineering, IT Operations, IT Service Desk, IT Asset Management and Identity and Access services. Provides guidance for staff members to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as exceptional execution of fulfillment tasks.

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Chief Technology Officer in Dallas, TX. The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for the delivery and availability of all IT shared services. IT shared service delivery includes Architecture, Engineering, IT Operations, IT Service Desk, IT Asset Management and Identity and Access services. Provides guidance for staff members to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as exceptional execution of fulfillment tasks.
- Responsible to provide guidance, leadership, and technical expertise in the Information Technology field.
- Assign and direct the activities of professional and technical staff involved in the implementation and sustainment of solutions and service.
- Review and analyze existing Infrastructure to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those components.
- Review performance of systems for efficiency, capacity, and availability.
- Drive and participate in IT Services for internal projects as well as vendor provided solutions.
- Responsible for translating issues in the environment into actionable problem statements for the Architecture, Engineering and Development groups.
- Drive teams towards building catalogs and SLA’s for IT services provided to the business.
- Prepare regular reports showing functioning of the system, and status and health of services.
- Provide technical information required in the preparation of annual budget figures supporting projects, operations and lifecycle management.
- Assist with quality assurance, identify and resolve program issues and errors.
- Responsible for supporting IT Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery processes as they pertain to the continuity of operations within IT Services Division, or to support continuity of operations for the enterprise when IT Services are essential to support restoration or recovery activities.
- Partner directly and indirectly with business leads in order to align business initiatives with IT resources.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining systems and applications in alignment with SBNA security controls and standards related to protecting sensitive data for compliance with Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA).
- Responsible for adhering to Software Development Lifecycle policies, standards, and processes.
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science field, Master’s Degree preferred.
- 10 years experience managing multiple IT verticals and overseeing large Information Technology projects.
- Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service management and project management principles.
- Must possess 8 years or more experience in a related field as an individual contributor.
- One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
