Sunflower Bank, N.A is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Managing Director of Wealth Management Client Experience at our Denver, CO branch or any Colorado location available.
Summary
The Managing Director of Client Experience is responsible for exceptional client experience by optimizing operational efficiency and leveraging engagement metrics and ensuring seamless service delivery. Operational activities range both a regional bank with multiple offices across the western US as well as expanding current RIA platform. The candidate must have detailed knowledge of operations and administration as well as the ability to interface with the firm’s RIA and Wealth Management department for the delivery of investment solutions to its clients.
The candidate must have exceptional leadership as well as written and verbal communication skills and the ability to positively interact with clients, applicable regulatory bodies and all divisions of Sunflower Bank, N.A.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct the operations management function, assisting that manager with the development of workflows for the seamless integration of activities across corresponding activities
- Maintain best-in-class operational delivery to enhance current customer relationships
- Review and interpret Wealth Management documents to assist the managers and administrators with the proper set-up and delivery of Wealth Management services
- Development and maintenance of reports documenting policies and procedures that cover all products and services of the department across multiple supervisory channels
- Evaluate with various partners the impact on business offerings, services, and procedures from periodic reviews and regulatory (OCC, SEC, FINRA, etc.) or other change factor.
- Design and execute a comprehensive client experience strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Utilize client feedback and data analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience across all touchpoints
- Participate in new product development, and identify opportunities to enhance Wealth Management activities
- Manage pricing models and profitability for Wealth Management customer relationships
- Coordinate expenses of the Wealth Management department within targeted profit plan levels
- Study state and federal laws related to the industry and ensure that the department conducts business according to new regulations that arise.
- Assist with the tracking of training, certifications, and other key requirements for bank and RIA personnel.
- Review client documents for compliance purposes.
- Assist in resolving and responding to client complaints.
- Receive and review expense items for payment authorization
- Develop and disseminate meaningful status updates to management and corresponding committees
- Monitor and report on Wealth Management activities regulatory compliance
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Understand the bank’s mission, organizational structure, employee orientation guide, bank security, policies and procedures and standards of conduct
- Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
- Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- 15 years of Wealth Management experience in a management capacity
- Experience growing operational efficiencies and scalability for client account growth
- Completion of relevant professional designations (eg, AIF, CIP, CTFA)
- Proven leadership and ability to develop managers and staff
- Must have a professional appearance and manner
- Must be self-motivated and able to develop a performance culture
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Travel estimated at 20-30%
- Must be bondable.
The salary range for this position is $175k to $250k pending knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
