During Child Abuse and Neglect Training from Sunflower House, you will learn about behavioral and physical indicators of child abuse and how to respond and report. Kansas / Missouri mandated reporter laws, process, local resources and trauma informed response will be covered.

Topics include : How to recognize possible victims, how to report a suspicion / disclosure of abuse and how to appropriately handle a child’s disclosure of abuse. Abusive Head Trauma information is included as well. This training is approved for 1 clock hours, KDH&E / DESE / DHSS (KS and MO).
