Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with Service BU leaders to integrate people strategies with business objectives.
- Serve as an advisor to leadership on employee relations, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Provide data-driven insights to drive decision-making on talent management and performance strategies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with thorough investigations and objective problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, mitigating risk through proactive HR policies and practices.
- Partner with legal teams on immigration-related matters when necessary.
- Work with recruiters to oversee recruitment efforts at all levels, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Assist managers with candidate selection, compensation recommendations, and hiring best practices.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives to address talent gaps and future organizational needs.
- Manage the organization's performance management program, including training and communication initiatives.
- Develop learning programs to support career growth and leadership development.
- Coach managers on employee engagement, feedback, and team development.
- Lead and mentor HR Coordinator(s), ensuring effective HR service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, leveraging HR technology and best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and diversity within the organization.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and talent management.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization is a plus.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to foster positive employee relations.
- HRIS experience preferred.
Certifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Full-time position based in Costa Mesa, CA, or Houston, TX.
- Less than 10% travel is required.
