What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Licensing Brand position at Sunkist Growers?
The primary role of the position is communications with global licensees and the brand approval process. "Protect the Brand" is objective number one at Licensing, this role is critical in that effort. The Licensing Brand Manager role is the first and primary reviewer of packaging, marketing materials, advertising etc. The Licensing Brand Manager will then work with the Licensing group and other functional departments to complete the review process and will be the primary contact working closely with our Global Licensees to ensure all material aligns with our graphics guidelines, best practices and contractually required licensee approval process of all uses of the Sunkist Brand. The Licensing Brand Manager is the key owner of the process. This role is essential in keeping the Licensing Department running smoothly, responsive to our licensee needs and proactive in positively contributing to the team's success.
Essential Job functions / Duties :
- Coordinates, manages, and is responsible for the contractually required licensee approval process of all uses of the Sunkist brand. This includes routing the internal approvals to Sunkist Licensing, Marketing, and Legal. All worldwide brand use requires approval including advertising, marketing, promotions, websites, digital and social, and other related materials. The process also includes new product packaging and labels
- Reviews and routes all requests and ensures approvals are done in a timely manner and well within contractual requirements. Communicates approvals and required changes to licensees. Responsible for the Graphics Standards Manual.
- Oversight of the Licensing Newsletter, New Product Sampler, and other materials sent to licensees. This includes content, layout and production, sourcing of samples, and final delivery to licensees per our annual calendar. Coordinates tradeshows including booth, displays, and licensee products.
- Liaison of licensee-to-licensee communication, contacts, product sample requests, product image requests, and all other day to day needs. Assists the Licensing Directors with the creation and management of marketing and presentation materials. Manages and updates the global licensee contact list.
- Provides admin support for VP and Directors when needed.
- Manages the procurement, budget and inventory for Sunkist premiums and gifts used by the Licensing Department.
- Responsible for leading and managing the Global Licensing Conference.
- Interacts with all levels of organization and Sunkist licensees. Must be able to interact and deal effectively in person and in writing in a global, multilingual and cultural diverse work environment
- Responsible for management, licensee authorization, and content of the Licensing Portal. Also responsible for coordination with licensees and Sunkist for content in the licensing section of Sunkist website. Responsible for department subscriptions and other resources.
- Responsiblefor office management of licensee contracts including updating contracts, management of files, and updating the on-line contract overviews
