Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as geriatrics, PICU, or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and practices is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans established by healthcare providers.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable.
- Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.
