In this role, you will conduct site surveys for solar projects by measuring roof planes and documenting the entire exterior of homes. You'll take detailed photos of the property, including the electrical panel and any external equipment relevant to ensure accurate planning for solar installations. You will also be responsible for conveying this information and communicating it to our construction team, designer and manager.

Key responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned locations to conduct on site surveys for potential solar installations
- Data collection and documentation: take precise measurements of land, structures, and surrounding features.
- Capture site conditions: Take clear, comprehensive photos of the homes, exterior, including roof, electrical panel, and other relevant features.
- Environmental assessment: evaluate factors such as shading, terrain, and access to determine if this site is suitable for solar energy systems
- Collaboration: Work with construction managers, and engineers to relay findings and assist in project findings
- Equipment usage: Use basic serving tools and equipment (training provided on tools, but you must come with a willingness to learn)
- Report preparation: organize and compile survey data into clear reports for the project team.
- Quality assurance: ensure all site survey data is accurate and thorough to meet project specifications.
- Field Safety: adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment while on site.
- Experience in construction, surveying, or solar energy Installs.
- Communicative: The site tech position extremely important for installs to be scheduled, you need to be able to communicate quickly and clearly to your team.
- Hourly Rate: $20.00-24.00, based on experience
