Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and address any concerns or needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their individual needs are met throughout the day.
- Assist in the development of programs for children with disabilities or special needs.
Skills
- Strong background in childcare or early childhood education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's development.
- Familiarity with first aid practices to ensure children's safety.
- Ability to educate and engage children effectively through creative activities.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- Previous babysitting or childcare experience is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
