Job Description
A Production Scheduler is responsible for the timely and adequate supply of materials needed for production. Responsibilities include determining material specifications, creating, and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments, and managing external relations. This person ensures the appropriate supply of materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery. This job requires strong organizational & time management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of manufacturing process & supply chain management.

This job requires strong organizational & time management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of manufacturing process & supply chain management.
Major Job Functions
- Daily manipulate spreadsheets to present data around raw materials and production scheduling.
- Via excel, analyze outstanding orders, inventories, production schedules, and production capabilities to adjust and build production schedule.
- Meet daily with production management to refine schedule and distribute,
- Build and maintain a model in excel to review raw material usage by item on a regular basis to adjust minimum levels and order points as needed.
- Enter production into raw materials accounting software (SAP) daily to relieve inventory.
- Expert in excel and related MS Office products
- Power BI experience strongly preferred
- Degree preferred but not mandatory
- SAP experience is a plus
