Responsibilities for Infant/Toddler Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
- Communicate with parents via our online platform and in person
Qualifications for Infant Teacher
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority - we will train you!
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Caring individual who enjoys working with young children
- Previous infant care experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
- Ability to work a shift in between 9:00 am _ 5:30 pm
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
- Certification in CPR/First Aid - we will train you!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
