Duties
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience upon arrival.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Process patient information using open dental software system
- Assist with coding for insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operation of the office.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
- Previous is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
- Proficiency in dental software applications
- Knowledge of medical records management and coding practices is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
