Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Schedule will primarily be Mon- Wed overnights, unless other over nighter needs off in which case we may ask to pick up a different night once in a while if needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively sell products.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations to provide change and manage cash handling duties effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills, including retail math, to handle transactions accurately.
- Experience operating cash registers and handling cash is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new procedures and policies related to sales and customer service.

Application Question(s):
- Shifts will be primarily 11pm-8:15 am or 12am-9:15 am, minor adjustments made to on occasion . Monday night through Wednesday night mainly, may be asked occasionally to pick up a different day if other overnighter needs off. Does this work for you?
