JOB TITLE: Installed Services Supervisor
JOB LOCATION: Salt Lake City
REPORTING TO: Location Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager.
EXEMPTION STATUS: Salary (Exempt)
SUPERVISORY: Yes
FUNCTION: Responsible for successfully supporting the sales process, managing customer &
subcontractor requirements. Providing customer support and coordination of SPC products and
installation services for exterior doors, windows, interior millwork, and door hardware.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Provide quarterly performance feedback to individual subcontractors and provide necessary training to promote growth and development.
- Provide project updates and performance feedback data to relevant stake holders, including Project Manager, Location Manager, Sales Reps, customers, and key project personnel.
- Coordinate with Sales Reps to ensure they are equipped with all necessary information and measurements to drive sales and to develop customer relationships.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers.
- Collect and track project quality data through multiple channels, including customer feedback, input from superintendents, direct observation, and other sources.
- Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspection and effective preventative maintenance program. Actively participate in safety meetings.
- Perform operational and financial audits in accordance with best practice standards.
- Maximize overall performance quality by effectively communicating job standards, customer needs, timelines to installers, and double-checking all outgoing paperwork & job assignments.
- Maintain clean, safe and effective site and working conditions.
- Schedule and supervise work crews (in house or subcontractors) according to project needs and available resources.
- Attend subcontractor meetings.
- Regularly visit job sites and evaluate project needs.
- Perform field measurements according to project specifications. Compile lists for ordering needs. Coordinate job site deliveries.
- Review project costs, which may include processing in house payroll.
- Experience in handling warranty claims.
- Coordinating and scheduling of products.
- Perform other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong ability to evaluate individual and team performance and to create accountability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid mathematical skills conducive to measurement, payroll calculation, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to develop and mentor others and foster teamwork through strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality centered environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
- Proven hands on experience with installing products such as windows, doors, millwork, and hardware.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years experience managing a team in the construction industry.
- Carpentry experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Work Requirements - Medium: exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating equipment.
- Regular exposure to the elements.
- Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
- Navigate and comfortably visit large commercial and multifamily job sites to take job site measures and coordination with subcontractors, and customers.
