What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook: Weekday Evenings, Occasional Saturday Mornings position at Sunridge Assisted Living of Roy?
Sunridge Assisted Living of Roy is looking for a fun, hardworking, dependable individual to join our team as our new weekend cook!
Scheduled hours required would be 630am -230pm - some Saturdays and 3pm - 7pm Monday and Tuesday with other nights as available / needed.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing meals for the elderly community
- Cleaning and maintaining food service area
- Assisting the dietary team in maintaining inventory control
Requirements:
- Have knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Know how to follow a recipe
- Be able to handle stressful situations well
- Be flexible and accommodating with hours and residents
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, coworkers, families, and residents
- Good time management
- Have at least 2 years of cooking experience
- Current food handlers permit
- Possess a love for the elderly and have a kind and compassionate attitude
Background check, and TB test are required by employer upon hire.
