Facilities Manager
The Manager of Facilities position is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on clinic buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. Performs a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the buildings trades; such as, painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the buildings.
Position Summary:
With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, The Facilities Manager will:
- Performs routine, repetitive, daily inspections and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis. Inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, repairs or replaces broken parts.
- Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair, and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades; such as, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics.
- Performs maintenance of electrical systems (replaces light bulbs, cleans and repairs circuit breaker panels, etc.).
- Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
- Schedules fire alarm inspections (fire protection) and repairs when needed.
- Performs manual repairs when necessary (fixes locks, replaces windows, etc.).
- Schedules activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
- Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation, and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, and a variety of other structures and items.
- Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish, installs or repairs carpet, performs custodial duties as required.
- Moves furniture and equipment when necessary.
- Checks for excessive wire nests.
- Maintains campus facilities to ensure they are clean and in orderly conditions.
- Inspects property on a daily basis and communicates with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general clean up and maintenance. Inspects outside of clinic areas and makes sure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition.
- Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and SDS Sheets.
- May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patients and employees of the facility and to eliminate all hazards.
- May assist the IT Department with various duties, including but not limited to AV set-up, moving of equipment, and minor trouble shooting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED),
- Certificate or Associates Degree from a Community College or Technical School in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
