Summary
We are seeking a Hotline Assessor to join our team at Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center. In this role, you will be pivotal in assessing the needs of individuals reaching out for assistance, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and support. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for individuals contacting the hotline to determine their immediate needs.
- Provide crisis management support and connect clients with appropriate resources.
- Document interactions accurately in compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with outreach teams to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance assessment skills and knowledge of available services.
- Support clients in navigating housing options and wraparound services.
Requirements
- Experience in crisis management or direct support roles is essential.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling practices is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of medical documentation standards is beneficial.
