Lawn & Ornamental Horticulture Technician (Landscape Operations)

We are growing and have a great opportunity for an experienced Lawn & Ornamental Horticulture Technician to join our Team. This role is responsible for for maintaining our clients' landscapes with precision and care.
Sunrise Landscape has multiple locations throughout Florida and this role will be located in Bradenton, FL
What You Will Do:
- Perform landscape enhancement tasks, including but not limited to spreading fertilizer, mixing and applying chemicals.
- Maintain clients’ yards by diagnosing and treating insects, diseases & weeds.
- Perform landscape duties that require lifting up to 50lbs and operating both a hose & reel and zero-turn spray machine.
- Daily preparation of assigned tasks by loading tools, chemicals and equipment to performing duties for daily routes as assigned.
- Drive a truck and trailer to/from job sites with supplies and equipment to perform assigned duties above.
- Communicate professionally with clients and address concerns promptly, representing the company in a competent, professional manner. Escalate issues to supervisor as appropriate.
- Oversee your work product to ensure tasks are carried out according to project specifications; and safety standards are observed at all times.
- Safe operation of equipment.
- Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and all tools and equipment, while ensuring truck/trailer is in clean condition; report any repair needs promptly.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years experience in the lawn/ornamental field.
• Drivers’ license of at least 3 years clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in high temperatures.
• Previous operation of a hose & reel AND zero-turn spray machine required.
