What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardscape Foreman position at Sunrise Landscapes?
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hardscape Foreman to join our dynamic team. As a Hardscape Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team and constructing and installing various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor living spaces. You will work closely with your team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-Lead a crew of 1-3 members
-Install various hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor living spaces, according to project plans and specifications
- Prepare and level the ground, ensuring proper drainage and stability
- Lay pavers, bricks, stones, and other materials to create aesthetically pleasing and functional hardscape designs
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as compactors, saws, and hand tools
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Manager team members' time and work quality
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hardscape Installer or similar role
- Previous management experience a PLUS
- Excellent knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and materials REQUIRED
- Proficient in operating hardscape installation equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Follow Project instructions from the Crew Foreman and execute tasks efficiently
- Keep vehicles, machinery, and tools in good repair and working order
- Continuously Improve knowledge, education, & industry awareness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Year round work
