Sunrise Manor located in Amelia OH is currently hiring a Concierge / Admissions.
Job Summary . The purpose of the Concierge is to make a patient's hospital stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The Concierge consults with head nurses and patient relations administrators to discuss newly admitted residents.
The Concierge finds out how to best meet the needs of residents during the length of their stay. A Concierge organizes services to help patients, families, visitors and employees with daily needs.
Admissions Director to develop census and quality mix, manage the admissions process for prospective and incoming residents while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF Admissions Director :
- Proactively reach out to and respond to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families and other referral sources.
- Serve as the initial liaison with resident and families on facility services and issues.
- Verify potential residents Insurance and obtain insurance authorization for admission
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing on each referral
- Meet with resident or resident's representative to obtain necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission.
- Conduct tours of facility for prospective clients.
- Assign accommodations for new admissions related to nursing care needs, resident and resident's family’s preference, availability of space, and other information
- Assist the Marketing Director to develop presentations and events aimed at community education and awareness on facility specialty programs and services
Patient Comfort and Convenience
Concierge services are intended to optimize patient comfort. The Concierge is the link between patients and private services to provide additional amenities.
By working closely with a hospital's environmental services, the concierge makes sure patients have access to equipment, such as wheelchairs. The concierge also ensures that patients receive the morning newspaper, snacks and special-order foods to meet their cultural or religious preferences, upon request.
Visitor Services
A Concierge may help visitors of patients with daily or specialty needs, such as private room meetings with loved ones, or resident pet visits, residents tours and resident birthday celebrations.
Room Facilities
The Concierge helps with resident room amenities that make for a more comfortable, relaxing and healing stay. The concierge may hire decorators which these types of services are usually performed before patients arrive, so rooms are ready for use when patients need them.
