What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Recreation Attendant position at Sunrise Park Resort?
Summary: Building lasting relationships with guests and employees is key to this position’s success. This role requires a high degree of focus on safety while being comfortable working at various levels of height. Organize, educate, and prepare guests appropriately for each activity area. Check guests for proper ticket/wristband access for activities. We are looking for enthusiastic applicants with a personal commitment to professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service.
- DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist guests in a safe, professional manner on complex activities.
- Performs all tasks for which the work group is responsible.
- Provide a safe environment for guests and staff to participate while providing safety, fun, and engagement at the highest level.
- Constantly monitor the adherence of safety policies.
- Working at various levels of height focusing on the safety of the guest, fellow employees, and self.
- Greet guests and give an introductory orientation talk.
- Inspect, repair, and prepare guide equipment, guest equipment, and Zipline course daily.
- Complete Daily Operations Checklist
- Complete accurate records: Equipment Use Log and Incidents.
- Inform Manager of any maintenance needs on the course.
- Guide groups and demonstrate proficiency in the multitude of skills required to guide.
- Ensure that all procedures covered in the Guide Training Manual are followed.
- Respond when necessary to evacuate participants from the course.
- Always ensure the highest level of cleanliness while actively mitigate any hazards that may arise.
