What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Full time (Nights) position at Sunrise Recovery?
The LPN will provide medication administration, vital sign monitoring, administering CIWA and COWS, administering urine drug screens and documenting progress notes. The LPN will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and attend clinical meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer CIWA and COWS and other appropriate screening instruments
Administer medications, communicate with team any patient reported side effects from withdrawal medications
Oversee urinalysis as per physician’s instructions
Supervised by and reports directly to Nursing Supervisor
Monitors patient vital signs
Documents progress notes
Participates in team meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program
Maintains a current IN LPN license
Experience in addiction or psych nursing with strong preference for detox experience. Experience using EMR
