Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the dish and pot washing areas.
- Operate dish machine(s) according to manufacturer instructions and maintain accurate temperature and sanitation logs.
- Perform dishwashing tasks to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Clean assigned kitchen equipment and complete assigned kitchen cleaning duties.
- Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing production areas.
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of job-related experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification, ServSafe Food Handler Card, and Local Health Department Food Handler Card may be required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
