Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Resident Care Director/Director of Nursing/Nursing Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership for resident care in the community, collaborating with clinical providers, and participating in quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for residents.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for clinical staff.
- Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
