We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments to residents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication administration records.
- Document and maintain accurate records of medication administration, including resident information and any concerns or issues that arise.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to ensure seamless communication and coordination of resident care.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding medication management.
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medication administration techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications such as CPR and First Aid may also be necessary.
- Ability to make sound judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
